Drawing at Hopper House April 15

Here's a few sketches from last week's drawing session. Always good to practice, and it helps when you've got a great model who strikes some good poses.

I'm thrilled with how the sessions at Hopper house are going; we've had such great attendance, from students to professionals and retirees.. the place fairly buzzes with creativity. Our model, Bobbi is always a pleasure to draw, using progressive poses.

Welcome to my new blog! I've decided to start this one and devote it entirely to my figurative sketches. My other blog will focus on illustrative and court art only.
These studies were 15-20 minutes each using charcoal and nupastels on newsprint. The slight tone to the newsprint gives the nupastel a nice 'bump' of color.
